About the Position
Inspector de Monitoreo Ambiental Senior - Callao
Join SGS, a leading multinational company in inspection, verification, testing, and certification services, as a Senior Environmental Monitoring Inspector in Callao. Conduct inspections and sampling in various sectors, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and sampling according to inspection orders, procedures, and SGS guidelines under the supervision of the Leader in charge.
- Keep the Leader or Coordinator informed about the inspection progress.
- Participate in service opening and closing meetings.
- Prepare inspection and safety documents as applicable.
- Report non-conformities during inspections to the Leader or Operations Coordinator to implement corrective measures and generate improvement opportunities.
- Report operational expenses, service deliverables, and review and update information.
- Perform other tasks assigned within the scope of inspection and sampling activities.
- Be available to the Operations Coordinator or Project Leader to perform inspection and sampling services according to established schedules, additional requests, or emergencies requested by our clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Vocational degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Fishing, Biology, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring matrices: water, air, soil, noise, and emissions.
- Availability to travel and work on rotating shifts.
- 2 years of field experience (not management).
- Ability to drive and hold a category A1 (3 years) - A2b (2 years) license.
- Basic office management skills.
