Inspector Líder de Monitoreo Ambiental

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Monitoring Leader to oversee environmental inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards in Peru.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and sampling according to inspection orders, procedures, operational instructions, and SGS guidelines.
• Lead field monitoring, resolve, and report deviations during monitoring.
• Lead opening and closing meetings of the service.
• Prepare inspection and safety documents as applicable.
• Inform the Operations Coordinator or Project Leader about non-conformities during inspection to apply corrective measures and generate improvement opportunities.
• Report operational expenses, service deliverables, review, and update information, among others.
• Perform quality and safety supervision of personnel assigned to the service according to associated risks and hazards.
• Respond promptly to emergency environmental monitoring requests from our clients.
• Comply with company guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Vocational degree in Environmental, Chemical, Fishery, Biology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental monitoring (1 year leading groups).
• Proficiency in monitoring matrices: water, air, soil, noise. Advanced knowledge of the emissions matrix.
• Availability to travel and work in rotating shifts.
• Ability to drive and hold a category A2b (not less than 2 years) or A1 (more than 3 years) driver's license.
• Basic office skills.
