About the Position

Atlas NextWave is recruiting an experienced Instrument Preparator to support maintenance and reliability activities at a key UK gas processing facility.

Responsibilities

Preparing instrumentation maintenance work scopes and job packs.
Supporting safe and cost-effective maintenance operations.
Coordinating vendors, specialist contractors, and technical support personnel.
Acting as a technical focal point for instrumentation activities.
Supporting maintenance planning and work management processes.
Providing technical support to maintenance teams during execution.
Assisting with breakdown response and ongoing plant reliability initiatives.

Requirements

Instrumentation experience within oil & gas, petrochemical, process, LNG, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of maintenance and production operations.
Experience developing maintenance work scopes and supporting field execution.
Ability to liaise effectively with technicians, contractors, and operations teams.
ONC, HNC, BTEC, or equivalent engineering qualification.
A proactive approach to safety, maintenance excellence, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

CompEx certification.
Supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience within COMAH, gas terminal, or hydrocarbon processing facilities.
