Job description

About the Position

The Integration Architect plays a critical role in designing and building iPaaS solutions that connect business systems and enable data to flow seamlessly across enterprise platforms. In this role, you will partner with client team members and our consulting team to architect, implement, and deploy integration solutions for customers across multiple industries and technology stacks. This position requires deep expertise in enterprise iPaaS platforms, Salesforce and ERP integration patterns, and the ability to lead solution design discussions, guide technical execution, and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end integration architectures across MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud, Boomi, or Celigo that connect Salesforce, NetSuite, and other systems.
  • Design database integrations for both cloud and on-premise systems, including direct database connections, CDC (Change Data Capture), and batch synchronization.
  • Architect EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) integrations for B2B order processing, procurement, and supply chain data exchange.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration architectures and implementation strategies.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions and technical workshops with clients to understand system landscapes, integration requirements, and data flows.
  • Own complex integration solutions from design through deployment, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Implement agentic workflows using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate integration configuration and reduce manual coding.
  • Advise on API-first architecture, security (OAuth, encryption, credential management), and integration governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, consultants, and client technical teams to deliver integration solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers by reviewing code, assigning development tasks, and supporting their technical growth.
  • Proactively flag project risks, technical limitations, or architectural concerns early and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues within integration codebases and legacy configurations.
  • Stay current with emerging integration technologies, tools, and patterns and evaluate opportunities to apply them to client solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years designing and implementing enterprise integrations across multiple middleware/iPaaS platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with at least two of these platforms: MuleSoft Anypoint, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or Boomi.
  • Experience designing or implementing EDI integrations for B2B data exchange.
  • Shipped at least one Quote to Cash integrations connecting order management, billing, and fulfillment systems.
  • Designed at least one ecommerce platform integration (inventory, catalog, order synchronization).
  • Worked on integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite (or similar ERP platforms).
  • Worked on direct database integrations using connection pooling, CDC, or batch patterns.
  • Strong understanding of architecture design concepts including object-oriented design, logical and physical database architectures, and operating systems.
  • Proficient in driving requirement gathering calls with clients and converting business use cases to technical requirements.
  • Experience creating data contracts, integration diagrams, and data flow documentation to communicate complex system interactions.
  • Strong grasp of API design, REST, and asynchronous messaging patterns.
  • Used AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate integration work and governance.
  • Ability to communicate integration architecture clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • At least two iPaaS certifications, preferably on Mulesoft Anypoint.
  • Hands-on experience with integration security patterns (OAuth 2.0, API key rotation, encryption at rest and in transit).
  • Experience with Workato, MuleSoft's Composer, or other low-code integration platforms.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time streaming integrations.

We Offer

  • Competitive compensation benchmarked to the market.
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge integration technologies.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Flexible work arrangements.
