Responsibilities

As an Integration Engineer (BSS-Core) in Mobile Network Engineering, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the interface between BSS business/operations and technical teams.
• Translating business and functional requirements into clear technical requirements and Change Requests (CRs) for vendor engineering teams.
• Analyzing customer-observed issues and network anomalies and identifying error patterns (e.g., CDR inconsistencies, provisioning issues).
• Supporting defect triage and resolution across BSS, Core, and vendor organizations.
• Validating and verifying vendor solutions (e.g., Rakuten, Mavenir), including challenging proposed fixes where required.
• Assessing the end-to-end impact of vendor changes across BSS, Core, and service behavior.
• Performing log, trace, and protocol analysis (e.g., PCAP, KPIs) to identify anomalies.
• Ensuring end-to-end understanding of service flows and dependencies between BSS, and Core (4G/5G).
• Supporting and improving observability and troubleshooting concepts across domains.

Requirements

• Good understanding of telecom system architecture.
• BSS systems (charging, provisioning, APIs).
• 4G/5G Core network functions and integrations.
• Experience with log, trace, and signaling analysis (e.g., PCAP, Diameter, HTTP/REST APIs).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and defect analysis in complex distributed systems.
• Experience working in multi-vendor telecom environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of RAN components.
• Knowledge of 3GPP standards and telecom protocols.
• Ability to translate between business requirements and deep technical implementations.
