Responsibilities
- Analysis and monitoring of market risk at the ING Group level.
- Implementation of regulatory requirements in IRRBB.
- Managing models and tools for measuring and monitoring interest rate risk.
- Support for senior managers and other stakeholders in managing interest rate risk.
Requirements
- Relevant work experience within the financial sector, preferably in the banking sector.
- Completed academic education preferably in economics, econometrics, applied mathematics, finance, or comparable training.
- Knowledge in the field of Asset and Liability Management and new regulatory developments regarding IRRBB.
- Sound knowledge of risk management and financial products.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Nice to Have
- Quantitative background with excellent understanding of different types of market risks (interest rate, liquidity, and FX risks).
- Understanding of the complexities of a banking group with global operations and recent regulatory changes and requirements.
- Ability to master new material quickly and respond well to the wishes and needs of others as an expert advisor.
- Pragmatic problem solver who can support the implementation of IRRBB risk measures in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and writing skills in English.
- Ability to deal with cultural differences, conflicting interests, complex and unforeseen challenges, and to constructively cooperate with peers.
