About the Position
A leading educational institution in New York City is offering an internship opportunity for students pursuing their Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture. Interns will assist the design team under direct supervision throughout various project phases. Candidates should possess a strong design portfolio and strong communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in design software, such as Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, is preferred. This role offers an hourly salary between $26.25 and $30.25, alongside potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Assist the design team in all project phases under supervision.
- Support FFE selections and documentation.
- Conduct research for product and finish selections.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in and working toward a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
- Complete a strong design portfolio showcasing creative skills.
- Proficiency in required tools and software for design projects.
