About the Position

We are excited to announce an internship opportunity at Quantum as an Intern Data Science. Join our team to help build an LLM agent that provides practical advice to growers. You will fine-tune language models on horticultural data, design the agent’s prompts and tool integrations, and evaluate its performance in real scenarios-covering the full cycle from data preparation to a working, tested system.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune language models on horticultural data
• Design the agent’s prompts and tool integrations
• Evaluate the agent’s performance in real scenarios
• Cover the full cycle from data preparation to a working, tested system

Requirements

• Must have skills:

  • Knowledge and experience with algorithms and data structures
  • Strong knowledge of linear algebra, calculus, statistics, and probability theory
  • Experience with Machine Learning libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, ScikitLearn, etc.)
  • Experience with at least one of Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch, etc.)
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)

• Nice to have skills:

  • Docker practical experience
  • Experience in Computer Vision (segmentation, object detection, recognition, tracking, etc.)
  • Experience in Natural Language Processing
  • Knowledge of modern Neural Networks architectures (DNN, CNN, LSTM, etc.)
  • Participation in Kaggle competitions
  • Research experience in university
