About the Position

Intern Soporte IT

We are looking for an Intern Soporte IT to join our team in Guadalajara - La Tijera, Mexico. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in IT support, asset management, and customer service within a corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the IT team in addressing technical requirements from end-users and executing projects for the replacement and updating of computer equipment.
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for incidents related to hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Assist in the preparation, configuration, and installation of computers and technological equipment.
• Participate in projects for the replacement, updating, and deployment of computer equipment.
• Perform basic diagnostics of hardware and software failures, documenting findings and actions taken.
• Support the migration of information and configuration of user profiles during equipment replacement processes.
• Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets.
• Install and configure standard company applications.
• Follow up on support tickets and escalate incidents when necessary.
• Promote a positive user experience through professional and service-oriented support.

Requirements

• Active student with at least one year remaining to complete a degree in Ingeniería en Computación, Licenciatura en informática, or similar.
• Valid medical or faculty insurance.
• Skills:
  • English level B2.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • General knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral devices.
• Abilities:
