Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day implementation of SURE activities.
- Assist in planning, coordination, and monitoring of renewable energy interventions.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, communication, and visibility materials.
- Support stakeholder coordination with government, private sector, and development partners.
- Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, and field missions.
- Support procurement, contract management, and consultant coordination.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, data collection, and knowledge management.
- Support gender-responsive activities and women-led enterprise initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with GIZ rules and administrative procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous internship, volunteering, or research experience in renewable energy, international development, or project management is an advantage.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Good MS Office skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
- Knowledge of monitoring, data analysis, or communication tools is an asset.
- Willingness to travel within Sierra Leone.
