Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day implementation of SURE activities.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and monitoring of renewable energy interventions.
• Support preparation of reports, presentations, communication, and visibility materials.
• Support stakeholder coordination with government, private sector, and development partners.
• Assist in organizing workshops, trainings, and field missions.
• Support procurement, contract management, and consultant coordination.
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, data collection, and knowledge management.
• Support gender-responsive activities and women-led enterprise initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GIZ rules and administrative procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Development Studies, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous internship, volunteering, or research experience in renewable energy, international development, or project management is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good MS Office skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in multicultural teams.
• Knowledge of monitoring, data analysis, or communication tools is an asset.
• Willingness to travel within Sierra Leone.
