OMMAX GmbH, a leading digital strategy consultancy, is seeking an Intern Tech Transaction Advisory / Strategy to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital strategy and transaction advisory.

Responsibilities

• Support our team of experienced advisors in providing strategic consulting and technical expertise to investors and corporate clients.
• Take ownership of dedicated workstreams within challenging and exciting projects.
• Contribute to due diligence processes, assist in the development of technology equity stories, red-flag analyses, and value creation plans.
• Evaluate the impact of technology on companies by assessing system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical debt.
• Analyze R&D organizational structures and product roadmaps to evaluate engineering efficiency and scalability.
• Dive deep into different industries and SaaS business models, developing technical and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Background in a highly technical field (e.g., computer science, engineering) or a business background with a strong focus on SaaS and digital business models.
• Currently studying Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Management & Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with excellent academic performance.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
• Initial experience in digital strategy, transaction advisory, or IT.
• Foundational programming knowledge (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and understanding of modern software architectures (e.g., Cloud environments, APIs, microservices).
• Familiarity with the basic principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and modern engineering practices (e.g., Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Understanding of current technical trends (e.g., GenAI, cloud migration, data analytics) and their impact on commercial strategies and enterprise valuation.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, PowerBI, Tableau) is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining a highly structured way of working.
• Fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.

• Knowledge of GenAI, cloud migration, and data analytics
