About the Position

KPMG in Thailand’s Financial Risk Management (FRM) Banking Advisory team advises financial institutions and corporates on risk management frameworks, data analytics, quantitative modeling, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and financial risk systems. Our work covers a broad range of topics including market risk, liquidity risk, treasury transformation, financial derivatives, hedge accounting, digital assets, and quantitative risk analytics.

We are looking for motivated interns who are eager to develop their analytical skills and gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced professionals on real client engagements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Support project teams in risk management, treasury, and market risk advisory engagements for financial institutions and corporate clients
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports, presentations, and project deliverables
• Support quantitative analysis, modeling, and testing activities related to financial risk management projects
• Support the analysis and valuation of financial instruments, including foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives
• Assist in assessing market risk exposures and understanding the impact of market movements on financial portfolios
• Gain practical exposure to market risk concepts, valuation methodologies, and industry practices through project work
• Participate in the analysis of financial instruments, market trends, and emerging topics such as digital assets and sustainability-related risks
• Assist in projects involving risk frameworks, treasury management, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting
• Work alongside experienced consultants on real client engagements and contribute to project activities, research, and business analyses
• Collaborate effectively with team members while developing analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Qualifications and Skills

• 3rd – 4th year students in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or related fields
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai
• Proficiency in programming and data tools
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Strong communication and presentation capability
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
