TL;DR

This is a strategic operating role at the center of the company, reporting to the Head of Comms with a dotted line to our Cofounder and CEO. Your core job is making sure company leadership communication is clear, consistent, and compounding week after week as we scale. Around that core, you'll own the narrative, the moments, and the rhythms that keep a fast-growing global team aligned, and you'll run the programming lean, with AI doing the production work so your judgment goes where it matters most.

Responsibilities

  • Be the CEO's communications partner. Ensure consistent and compounding communication from week to week and act as a genuine advisor.
  • Own the company narrative and operating rhythm. Manage recurring communications and the strategy behind them.
  • Run the moments that matter. Plan and execute high-stakes communications such as fundraises, strategy rollouts, and leadership changes.
  • Make our flagship forums worth showing up for. Elevate the quality of company-wide all-hands and keep these moments warm and personal.
  • Build an AI-native internal comms engine. Utilize AI for input gathering, drafting, and measurement while reserving human judgment for editorial calls and sensitive moments.
  • Raise the bar for how leaders communicate. Equip leaders and managers with standards, tools, coaching, and talking points.
  • Measure understanding, not reach. Build feedback loops to test whether messages are understood and adjust accordingly.

Requirements

  • Communication: Exceptional writing skills and the ability to inform and align under pressure.
  • Leadership: Experience in a role where you've earned the trust of a founder or CEO.
  • Strategy: Ability to advise without ego, push back with evidence, and maintain confidence.
  • AI: Instinctive use of AI for gathering and aggregating information and building internal tools.
  • Organizational Insight: Ability to read organizations well and navigate cultural differences.

Nice to Have

  • Writing: Exceptional writing skills.
  • Problem-solving: Rigorous and structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive information with care.

We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, influential company
  • Professional development and growth opportunities
