Responsibilities

As an Internal Communications Partner at Helion, you will:

  • Serve as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional partners, helping shape message strategy, audience approach, channel selection, and timing for key updates.
  • Own and continuously improve recurring internal communication channels, including weekly newsletter, team presentations, digital signage, leader announcements, and other touchpoints that help employees stay informed and connected.
  • Lead change communication strategies for critical business initiatives, using employee feedback, channel performance, and organizational context to make recommendations that help employees navigate change with clarity and confidence.
  • Own and manage Helion’s intranet and knowledge base, collaborating with documentation owners and SMEs to maintain a reliable single source of truth for company information.
  • Partner with IS&T, People Ops, and business leaders to evolve audience segmentation, communication governance, and channel distribution strategies so the right information reaches the right employees at the right time.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in internal communications or employee engagement-ideally supporting high-growth organizations with distributed, deskless, or shift-based employee populations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong partnerships across all levels of an organization-from senior leaders to individual subject matter experts-to deliver communications plans that drive team alignment and engagement.
    • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messages across multiple formats, audiences, and channels, including email, Slack, Confluence, presentations, and digital signage.
    • Demonstrated success leading communication efforts during change, bringing structure and clarity to evolving processes, operational updates, and organizational shifts.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of driving projects forward, managing multiple stakeholders, and owning deliverables from concept through final execution.
