We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing international finance team. In this role, you will play a key role in the period-end close process, managing assigned areas of the accounting operations, and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting across all our international entities. Additionally, you will support all aspects of statutory reporting for these entities working closely with the relevant senior managers, preparers of the financial statements (currently outsourced), and the external auditors. This role requires a solid understanding of US GAAP, strong analytical skills, and a high degree of ownership and accountability. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
  • Manage general ledger activities, including preparation or review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules
  • Support variance analysis and provide explanations for key P&L and balance sheet movements
  • Manage and reconcile cash accounts for multiple entities
  • Work with both internal and external auditors to ensure proper support and schedules are provided in order to complete quarterly and yearly audit test work for global audit and similarly for local statutory audits
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function
  • Special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Big 4 trained ACA with 3-4 years PQE, either (i) post qualified experience within a similar US GAAP listed technology company, or (ii) remaining in Big 4 practice
  • Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 and Blackline is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting across time zones
  • Concern for quality and deadlines
