Our International Graduate Trainee Programme offers you exciting insights and a thorough introduction to the diverse activities of a leading global reinsurer. This provides you with the exceptional opportunity to advance your expertise and drive your personal development.

Over a period of 24 months, including an international assignment, you will receive in-depth training in underwriting as well as in professional, methodological and social skills. Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating (re)insurance contracts with clients, analyzing and assessing legal trends in the field of property and casualty reinsurance for facultative or treaty clients
• Legal support (drafting/negotiating) for all kinds of documentation in connection with Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) and Insurance Linked Securities (ILS) transactions
• Comprehensive underwriting of (casualty) treaty business, including risk assessment, pricing, wording with exposure to the full underwriting value chain

Requirements

• Legal state examination or law degree (LLB, LLM)
• Initial work experience in insurance and/or financial services industry
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and German

Nice to Have

• At least three months experience abroad
• Curious and creative mindset
• Additional languages
