At ING we are looking for bright talent for the International Talent Programme – Wholesale Banking Track.
Responsibilities
As a Wholesale Banking ITP, you will be involved in transactions which have a large impact on our clients. Your main tasks consist of:
- Developing comprehensive marketing materials, including presentations and pitch books.
- Conducting thorough analysis of targets, financing options, and competitive landscape.
- Utilizing financial modeling and analysis skills to evaluate transaction viability.
- Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders throughout the transaction process.
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and assisting in drafting transaction documentation.
- Monitoring market trends, gathering industry information, and supporting portfolio management.
- Demonstrating strong project management skills to ensure timely and high-quality transaction delivery.
- Performing due diligence, evaluating risk factors, and maintaining compliance standards.
- Supporting syndication efforts and facilitating coordination among multiple parties.
- Processing credit reviews, waivers, and amendments to maintain a secure portfolio.
- Collaborating with the KYC team to uphold regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Staying updated on industry best practices and relevant regulations.
- Demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Masters' degree with above-average academic grades.
- Experience in banking, financial services, and/or strategic consultancy (including internships).
- Up to 2 years of international financial sector experience.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
- Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Collaborative and team player.
- Attention to detail and high-quality document delivery.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Ability to earn trust and respect from colleagues, senior management, and clients.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Rigorous and skilled in delivering quality documents in a timely and flexible manner.
Nice to Have
- Experience through internships, volunteering, or other extramural activities.
- Master’s or postgraduate degree in a financial field.
- Leadership activities.
- Participation in financial forums and communities.
