About the Position
Internship, Business Analyst, Applications Engineering (Winter/Spring 2027)
This internship is an opportunity to join Tesla's Business Analytics team in Applications Engineering for the Winter/Spring 2027 term. The role will involve data analysis, developing insights, and supporting business leaders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Business Analytics and Data Engineering teams to gather, clean, and analyze data using SQL, Tableau, and other data analysis tools.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track business metrics.
- Work on various data-driven projects including data analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, industry, and market trends.
- Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and optimization using data insights.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to team members and business stakeholders.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field (Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business) and graduating in December 2027-December 2028.
- Proficient in SQL, Tableau, and/or any other visualization tools.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience analyzing data sets and providing insights with clear recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bias for action.

Expected Compensation
$32.45 - $45.43 + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
