INTERNSHIP - Business Analyst - KYC & Customer Data

About the Position

ING Luxembourg is looking for an INTERNSHIP Business Analyst who will be working in KYC and Customer Data functional domains as part of a Delivery tribe, starting on September 1st, 2026, for a minimum duration of 6 months.

Please note that we only consider students who are currently enrolled in school/university and can provide a school convention.

Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will:

• Identify business needs, balancing them together with your Product Owner;
• Create or fine-tune business rules for data mappings between local and central databases;
• Extract, explore and manipulate data (Reconciliation, Value distribution, modeling, Reporting), helping reaching high data quality standards;
• Perform testing before each release;
• Contribute to process streamlining;
• Provide user support daily and contribute to change management for teams based both in Luxembourg and abroad.

Requirements

• Data-focused with strong analytical skills to interpret and translate business needs into operational processes;
• Good at handling data and mastering MS Excel functionalities (i.e. Pivot table, x/vlookup);
• Able to read and understand basic SQL Queries.

Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Economics / Finance / Computer Science / Business Management;
• Experience in developing or using AI (Prompting, Agentic);
• Experience in the banking industry is a plus.

Languages:

• Fluent in English and French.
