You will join our team based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in the position of:

Internship - Category Marketing Planning (EMEA)

About the Role

As a Category Marketing Planning Intern (EMEA), you will be an integral part of the Category Marketing team, contributing to both operational excellence and strategic category development. You will operate at the center of the organization, supporting product planning, performance tracking, and go-to-market execution across EMEA markets.

In this role, you will not only support day-to-day activities but also contribute to key category growth initiatives. You will gain exposure to how product portfolios are shaped, how data informs decision-making, and how category strategies are defined and activated across regions. By working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop a strong understanding of end-to-end category management and play an active role in driving commercial and brand impact.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of category documentation and product materials
  • Assist in managing product line charts and ensuring portfolio visibility
  • Coordinate product samples and support showroom operations
  • Help maintain category reports, trackers, and data consistency
  • Support product setup and commercial readiness activities with Sales
  • Assist in product launches and internal activations
  • Contribute to market analysis, including trends, competition, and portfolio performance
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Supply teams to support execution
  • Support strategic projects and category growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field at a university in the Netherlands
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working, with accuracy in handling data and documents
  • Interest in category management, product strategy, and data-driven decision-making
  • Comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and cultures
  • Proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Willingness to take ownership, ask questions, and learn in a fast-paced environment

We Offer

This 6-month internship, starting in September 2026, offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment. With mentorship and support, you’ll contribute to real category marketing and product planning initiatives across EMEA.

You’ll gain exposure to real business decisions and cross-functional collaboration, while developing practical skills in category operations, reporting, and go-to-market execution. This will give you a clear understanding of how category strategies are built and implemented across EMEA markets.
