About the Position
INTERNSHIP - Client Services - Wholesale Banking
ING Luxembourg Wholesale Banking Department is looking for a Client Services Intern. The internship will start at the beginning of July 2026 and will last at least 6 months. Please note that only students who can provide a valid internship agreement from their school will be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Financial Institutions / Real Estate / Large Corporates Intern, you will work closely with experienced Account Managers and actively contribute to the management and development of a diversified client portfolio.
Client Relationship & Business Support
- Support Account Managers in the daily management of institutional, real estate and large corporate clients
- Participate in client onboarding and relationship development
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams
Commercial & Business Development Activities
- Identify sales opportunities and contribute to cross-selling initiatives (e-banking solutions, FX, cash management, etc.)
- Support the achievement of the department’s commercial objectives
Analysis & Reporting
- Assist with client analysis, data collection and reporting
- Conduct research on clients, sectors and market trends
KYC & Administrative Processes
- Support KYC reviews and regulatory requirements
- Collect, analyze and follow up on KYC documentation and administrative requests
Requirements

Skills and Mindset
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
- Team player with a proactive and autonomous mindset
- Genuine interest in financial institutions and corporate banking
- Comfortable with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Education
- Student in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or Customer Relationship Management

Languages
- Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
Nice to Have
- A first experience in the financial sector will be considered an asset
