About the Position
Internship Customer Journey Expert
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join ING Bank in Milan, Italy, as an Internship Customer Journey Expert. This role is focused on enhancing software applications through coding and testing, and contributing to the overall improvement of our customer journey.
Responsibilities
- Assist in application development following ING Bank standards.
- Support an agile team in alignment with the solution design and enterprise architecture team.
- Help gather and document business requirements.
- Contribute to writing high-quality functional and technical documentation.
- Assist in implementing high-quality code and proposing optimizations in code design.
- Support the design, writing, and execution of Unit Tests and Functional Tests.
- Collaborate with the Release team for code versioning management.
- Help identify and resolve defects and bugs during the test phase.
- Assist in identifying and resolving production issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (Computer/Telecommunications).
- Basic knowledge or experience with programming languages/technologies such as Unix, Oracle SQL, and IBM DataStage.
- Interest in bug-fixing and code optimization.
- Strong teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an approachable demeanor.
- Motivation to learn and grow in a data-driven environment.
