We are looking for an Electrical & Electronics Engineer Intern to join our team at SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company. As an intern, you will assist in product testing activities and support laboratory operations.

Job Description

As an Electrical & Electronics Engineer Intern, you will:

• Assist Engineers and Laboratory personnel in conducting Electrical & Electronics product testing activities.
• Support sample receiving, preparation, labeling, storage, and disposal in accordance with laboratory procedures.
• Assist in setting up test equipment and test samples under the supervision of Engineers.
• Read, understand, and follow testing standards, test methods, and laboratory work instructions.
• Record test observations, maintain testing records, and assist in preparing test reports and documentation.
• Support equipment housekeeping, calibration tracking, and general laboratory maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with SGS quality, safety, and laboratory procedures at all times.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager or Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting Electrical & Electronics product testing activities.
• Support sample handling processes.
• Assist in setting up and operating test equipment.
• Follow testing standards and laboratory procedures.
• Record and maintain test observations and documentation.
• Support laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and laboratory procedures.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Good teamwork and cooperative skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and resourceful.
