About the Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to join our Technology Center team in the field of Manufacturing Technologies. As part of this role, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of advanced electronics manufacturing technologies for automotive and high-performance computing applications. You will work closely with engineers and experts globally to evaluate, develop, and qualify innovative processes, materials, and packaging technologies, contributing to the next generation of electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Harmonize worldwide sample build coordination
- Support sample build coordination in Regensburg and Sibiu
- Optimize Sample Build Documentation and KPI Tracking (e.g., material and BOM check, documentation, and quality reports)
- Perform process studies (e.g., underfill, dispensing, SMT performance)
- Support plastic welding equipment industrialization
- Support roll-out of new sample build online tool including KPI definition
- Assess Sample Build Insourcing Opportunities across Global Technology Centers
- Support global operations footprint activities
- Support global industrial engineering activities
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Initial experience with laboratory work, technical testing, data analysis, or engineering projects is considered an advantage
- Very good communication skills in English and German are a must
