About the Position

TAF Industries, a military-tech company dedicated to the production and development of military technologies from FPV drones and kamikaze drones to missiles and artificial intelligence systems for aerial reconnaissance, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer.

Responsibilities

• System integration of onboard components (sensors, video, telemetry, autopilot)
• Design and optimization of power supply, power consumption calculation, and implementation of backup systems
• Validation in field conditions, logging, and troubleshooting of hardware bugs
• Integration of combat payloads (relays, drop, repeaters) and synchronization with FC
• Creation of wiring diagrams, technical maps, and instructions for production
• Technical support for production and mentorship for junior engineers

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in UAV/robotics/embedded systems (2+ years as middle/senior)
• Practical experience in integrating and configuring onboard systems for multicopters or flying platforms
• Assembly and configuration of a complete onboard system: FC, ESC, GPS, telemetry, VTX, RX, sensors, payload
• Understanding of power supply and backup system principles: BEC, PDB, dual power
• Experience in diagnosing conflicts, power instability, interference, overheating-especially in field conditions
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, work with ArduPilot/PX4, and use tools like Mission Planner, MAVExplorer
• English proficiency at B1-C1 level for working with technical documentation, logs, and interfaces
