About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Backup Engineer to join our IT team in Kyiv, Ukraine. The role involves ensuring data integrity and security, and contributing to the overall stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and security.
- Monitor backup operations and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize backup processes and storage solutions.
- Develop and maintain backup policies and procedures.
- Perform regular testing and validation of backup systems to ensure data can be restored accurately.
Requirements
- Proficiency in backup software and tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data backup and recovery processes.
- Experience with database backup and recovery.
- Knowledge of cloud backup solutions is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
