About the Position
TAF Industries, a military-tech company specializing in the production and development of military technologies ranging from FPV drones and kamikaze drones to missiles and artificial intelligence systems for aerial reconnaissance, is seeking an Assembly Engineer for FPV Drones.
You can apply for this position if:
- You have 1.5−3 years of experience in the field of FPV drones or robotics;
- You can assemble a complete FPV drone "from scratch";
- You have intermediate or advanced soldering skills;
- You have experience with FC (Betaflight / INAV / ArduPilot);
- You understand the basics of electronics: voltage, current, resistance, battery balancing;
It would be great if you have:
- Recommendations from previous employers.
Your tasks will include:
- Assembling FPV Prototypes: Mounting electronics (FC, ESC, GPS, VTX, RX, cameras, power boards), wiring, soldering, servicing PDB;
- System Integration: Firmware configuration, initial PID tuning, checking control channels and failsafe, installing and calibrating sensors;
- Testing: Bench tests, first flights with logging, providing feedback to engineers on overheating, vibrations, interference, etc.;
- Support: Repairing drones after crashes, maintaining records of assemblies and components, updating configurations as per Tech Lead instructions;
- Documentation: Photo reports, comments on schematics, participation in improving assembly technical cards.
