iOS Developer Intern

Location: Detroit Area, Michigan

We are looking for a Mid-Level iOS Developer Intern with at least 3 years of experience (can include university) developing and maintaining mobile applications for iPhone and iPad platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Swift and experience building scalable, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain iOS applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, QA, UI/UX, and product owners
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
• Support application releases and post-production activities

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in iOS development
  • Strong experience with Swift and UIKit/SwiftUI
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM)
  • Familiarity with Git version control
  • Experience with App Store deployment process
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Firebase or analytics tools
  • Experience in automotive, IoT, or connected services applications

We Offer

• Compensation: The base compensation range for this contract position is between $27.50 - $35.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications, and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
