About the Position
We are seeking an IoT & Edge Computing Engineer to integrate OT systems with IT and cloud environments for real-time data capture and processing.
Project Description
The project aims to enable an end-to-end industrial data platform by integrating OT systems (plant equipment, PLCs, sensors) with IT and cloud environments, supporting real-time data capture, processing, and analytics to improve operational efficiency, safety, and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Integration of PLC, SCADA, and BCS in read mode (OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT)
- Deployment and operation of industrial edge devices (Linux, Docker)
- Integration of industrial sensors and IoT gateways
- Local storage and buffering of data at the edge
- Coordination with IT and OT cybersecurity
Requirements
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science is required (exceptionally, advanced vocational training may be accepted).
- Real experience in industrial plants and OT/IT projects is required.
- 5-6+ years of experience

- Node-RED, Ignition Edge

- InfluxDB
- OT networks
- On-site work model
- Travel required to visit plants and work onsite within Spain and potentially abroad after rollout.
- English B2 (good spoken level)
