About the Position

IoT Engineer Intern (Batam)

Join Bosch Rexroth as an IoT Engineer Intern in Batam. Work on Industry 4.0 projects, gain hands-on experience with IoT kits, and collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support of Bosch Rexroth IoT Solutions.
• Analyzing the gap of technical requirements from customers.
• Working closely with the international team for troubleshooting and technical support activities.
• Working hands-on with Bosch Rexroth IoT kit to develop Industry 4.0 PoC Project.
• Collaborating with the team for marketing and media activities.
• Providing technical training and assistance for Bosch Rexroth IoT Solutions and projects.

Requirements

• Able to be placed in Batam.
• Undergraduate students (min. S-1) from Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics/IT related fields.
• Highly passionate about the Industry 4.0 topic.
• Familiar and experienced with IoT standards and communication protocols like MQTT, HTTPs REST API, etc.
• Familiar and experienced with industry standards and communication protocols like OPC-UA, Modbus, EtherCAT, etc.
• Experience with programming tools or IDEs, such as PLC Engineering, Node Red, and Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with electrical components and microcontrollers, such as Arduino, STM32, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, etc.
• Experience with programming languages IEC 61131-3, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa.

We Offer

• Full-time paid internship.
• For the January-June 2027 period.
• Open for COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY (will not graduate during the internship program).
