Responsibilities

As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the data center infrastructure, with a focus on the Active Directory environment. You will strive to improve processes and simplify management tasks, because as the saying goes: a good administrator is a smart (and sometimes lazy) administrator.

You will manage the environment, handle incidents, and actively contribute to the maintenance and further development of the ICT within Defense. You will ensure that all conditions are met and perform installation tasks, such as system and software lifecycles.

In addition, you will support users by providing clear instructions on ICT tools and solutions and register agreements made to keep everything transparent and clear. You will write and maintain management documentation and take proactive corrective and preventive measures when processes or systems do not function optimally.

Requirements

Must-haves:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft Server in large environments (≥ 5000 users) spread across multiple locations
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• Knowledge of federative links (in-depth knowledge not required)
• Experience in management, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management
• Eye for process improvement and simplifying management tasks
