This position is within the IT Operations department – specifically in the IT Infrastructure team, which manages the internal IT infrastructure of shopware AG.
As an IT Administrator - Cloud-Infrastructure (m/w/d), you will play a central role in securing, optimizing, and evolving our internal infrastructure. - By designing and architecting our networks, you will lay the foundation for an efficient and scalable infrastructure.
- In close coordination with the Security Specialist, you will work on securing our systems and identifying optimization potentials.
- Monitoring and cost optimization of our AWS environments are part of your responsibilities, as is the further development of our AWS architecture.
- Using tools such as Terraform, CloudWatch, and monitoring systems, you will ensure transparency and automation in system administration.
- You will help shape our AI infrastructure – from model routing to hosting AI models in cloud and self-managed environments.
- When necessary, you will write analyses and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- In cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from the cloud engineering and infrastructure team, you will contribute new ideas and accompany projects from conception to implementation.
- You will regularly share your knowledge within the team, contributing to a strong internal knowledge base.
Requirements
- A broad understanding of networks and infrastructures allows you to consider and further develop complex systems holistically.
- You have solid Linux experience and are comfortable working in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in using monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and the ability to create meaningful analyses are key strengths.
- Knowledge of Terraform will help you manage infrastructure efficiently as code.

- Your communication skills and team spirit foster collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
- A high degree of self-motivation and a desire to continuously optimize existing systems characterize your approach.
