We are seeking an IT Analyst fluent in German and English for a hybrid role in Vienna, Austria, focusing on digital transformation in banking.
Responsibilities
- Taking on the role of IT Analyst in a banking environment
- Analysis of business and technical requirements together with business stakeholders
- Translation of business requirements into technical concepts and specifications
- Definition and documentation of technical software requirement specifications
- Contribution to solution design with regard to architecture, operations, and future business needs
- Design and alignment of REST APIs and business workflows
- Ensuring a shared understanding between business and IT
- Close collaboration with software engineers, data analysts, and product owners
- Active participation in agile delivery setups (Scrum or Kanban), including refinements and retrospectives
- Jira-based ticket and task management
Requirements
- Relevant experience as an IT Analyst or Requirements Engineer
- Strong technical understanding of modern software architectures and development processes
- Experience with agile software delivery methods (Scrum / Kanban)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Very good communication skills
- Very good English skills
- A technical degree is an advantage
Nice to Have
- Experience with Workflow management (e.g. Camunda)
- Experience with Platform as a Service (PaaS)
- Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
