About the Position
We are seeking an IT Architect to model internal and customer IT architectures for the Bundeswehr, Germany's largest IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- Modeling and Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize IT architectures for both internal and customer needs.
- Consulting and Strategy: Support consulting and requirement advisory for the Bundeswehr, contributing to strategic technological alignment.
- Service Development: Generate new IT services from customer solutions and further develop existing ones, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Process Integration: Connect with the Bundeswehr and suppliers on military IT solutions, contribute to corporate planning, and work on processes used throughout BWI.
- Communication: Daily communication with various stakeholders, exchange with ELA and manufacturers, steering internal and external meetings, and mentoring colleagues.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project experiences and personal work to improve designs and implementations through "lessons learned".
Requirements
- IT Architecture: Expertise in IT architecture.
- Consulting: Experience in consulting and advisory roles.
- Strategy: Skills in strategic planning and technological alignment.
- Service: Ability to develop and manage IT services.
- Processes: Experience in integrating processes with military IT solutions.
- Communication: Strong communication skills with stakeholders.
- Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement through evaluation and feedback.
