IT Area Lead

We are seeking an experienced IT Area Lead to oversee our Transaction Services Technology capability, covering Account & Cash Management, Pricing & Billing, and Working Capital Solutions. Responsibilities
Lead and Develop High-Performing Teams
- Build, coach, and retain a highly engaged team of technology professionals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Support employee growth through coaching, mentoring, and proactive talent development.
- Drive employee engagement and maintain a healthy, high-performing team environment.
Drive Technology Delivery Excellence
- Ensure delivery of technology services across development, maintenance, support, and custodianship functions.
- Partner closely with stakeholders, business leaders, architects, and delivery teams.
- Optimize service performance, delivery processes, and operational efficiency.
- Balance short-term business needs with long-term capability and workforce planning.
Shape Technology Strategy and Architecture
- Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
- Design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on complex technical and business challenges.
- Support reliability, resilience, and engineering excellence across the technology landscape.
Keep the Organization Secure and Compliant
- Ensure technology solutions comply with risk, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote strong governance, security controls, and risk management practices.
- Champion a culture of engineering accountability and operational excellence.
Requirements
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proven track record leading technology teams in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience driving strategic technology change initiatives.
- Experience managing service delivery and support within matrix organizations.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC, and engineering practices.
Technical Expertise
- Strong engineering background and technology leadership experience.
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery practices.
- Strong understanding of incident, problem, and service management.
- Familiarity with security governance, cyber risk, and technology controls.
