About the Position
IT Business Analyst / Project Manager
Vienna - Full time - Hybrid
63-75K EUR gross
This position is part of an Austrian tech company specializing in tailor-made software solutions for marketing planning and digital content management. The team focuses on building robust backend systems, efficient data synchronization, and smooth integration across multiple services. By combining technical precision with a strong commitment to quality, the company helps enterprise clients optimize internal workflows and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collect, structure, and document business and technical requirements for software solutions.
- Design end-to-end solutions and advise clients on best practices and system integrations.
- Act as a bridge between clients and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- Lead project teams (1–3 developers), manage timelines, and oversee successful project delivery.
- Support roll-outs, training sessions, and onboarding of power users.
Requirements
- +3 years of experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or IT Consultant in software/digital projects.
- Strong understanding of IT fundamentals, including web applications, APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud concepts.
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with excellent German communication skills; English is valuable for documentation and research.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements and work closely with developers.
