IT Business Tester

About the Position

We are looking for an IT Business Tester for a position at our client's office 2x/week in Lisbon.

The service to be provided has the main focus on ensuring high-quality software solutions by integrating structured testing practices with international business environments. Working closely with consultants and business representatives across different regions, you will validate requirements, enhance software reliability, and support the continuous improvement of testing processes.

As an IT Business Tester, you will play an integral role in analyzing software requirements and user stories for clarity, completeness, and testability. You will identify ambiguities, design, execute, and refine test cases based on functional requirements. Additionally, you will organize and facilitate UAT sessions with business users, providing guidance on test execution and defect reporting.

As part of our Automation strategy, you will be responsible for planning and integrating automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that automation aligns with business-critical functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and user stories for clarity, completeness, and testability
• Identify ambiguities and design, execute, and refine test cases based on functional requirements
• Organize and facilitate UAT sessions with business users
• Provide guidance on test execution and defect reporting
• Plan and integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• Mid-Level - Experience in modern test methods and technologies for cloud-based software products and CI/CD tools
• Mid-Level - Experience in test management and TEST FIRST approaches (E2E Workflow Test, Behavior/Test Driven Development, etc.)
• Mid-Level - Understanding of Software Requirements (such as business processes, Use Cases, User stories, or others)
• Mid-Level - Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, SAFe)
• Senior Level - Knowledge in Microsoft technologies, specially Dynamics 365 and Azure DevOps
• Senior Level - Be proactive, be a technology and business knowledge seeker, work with a team, and be able to solve problems
