Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst for customer portals to join our team in Prague, Czechia, focusing on developing and implementing customer self-service portals.

Are you passionate about understanding how a system should work, not just describing what the customer wants from it?

Can you ask the right questions, uncover ambiguities, and translate the customer's needs into specifications that the development team can work from?

💼 Job Content:

• Lead analytical meetings with customers to understand their needs,
• Prepare implementation studies and translate business requirements into specifications for development,
• Design the operation of customer portals and determine what the system will do automatically and what will be handled by the customer line,
• Collaborate with development, consultants, and service teams on the configuration and implementation of solutions for customers,
• Participate in deployment to test and production environments and verify the correct functionality of the solutions,
• Address errors and issues post-deployment and investigate their causes in collaboration with colleagues,
• Monitor the scope of delivery and be able to explain to the customer what is included in the solution and what constitutes an extension,
• Think about non-standard situations, such as data access, data inconsistency, or exceptional system states.

📢 Who We Are Looking For:

Someone with relevant experience who can combine business reasoning with technical insight. You don't need to be a programmer, but you should:

• Be able to analyze, ask the right questions, and identify when something is missing or doesn't make sense in the specifications,
• Be able to clearly and precisely formulate your thoughts in writing,
• Understand basic technical principles, such as APIs or the difference between immediate and deferred processing,
• Be able to independently lead customer meetings while keeping track of the scope of the specifications,
• Have excellent Czech language skills.

🪡 Experience in water management or energy? An advantage, not a requirement.

An advantage would be knowledge of the environment:

• Water management or energy,
• Customer centers and billing,
• Contracts, meter points, readings, and deposits,
• Customer or self-service portals.
• Even if you come from a different field, you might still be relevant. Relevant experience might include banking, insurance, telecommunications, ERP/CRM systems, or any environment where you have analyzed customer processes and translated them into the functioning of an information system.

Advantages:

• SQL at least at the level of reading and verifying data,
• Experience with customer or self-service portals,
• Experience with the analysis and implementation of information systems,
• Understanding of water management legislation,
• Knowledge of data protection issues.
