Responsibilities

As an IT Operations Platforms Specialist, you will:

• Support the architecture and design of platform solutions, including databases, middleware, virtualisation, and container platforms.
• Implement and manage platform maintenance routines, schedules, and operational procedures.
• Implement and operate orchestration and automation tools to maintain, optimise, and extend platform solutions.
• Implement and operate platform management, monitoring, and reporting tools to ensure performance, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve platform-related incidents and technical issues, including performance analysis and tuning.
• Implement and operate shared platform services such as OpenShift, Splunk, and Oracle Enterprise Manager, including backup and restore solutions.
• Monitor platform health and contribute to continuous improvement, optimisation, and operational efficiency.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support documentation, collaborating with architecture, development, infrastructure, and operations teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in IT platform operations, infrastructure, or systems administration.
• Mandatory: Valid OpenShift certification and proven hands-on experience with OpenShift in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with databases, middleware, virtualisation, and container platforms.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Splunk, Oracle Enterprise Manager, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of automation, orchestration, monitoring, and platform management tools.
• Experience with backup and restore, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of enterprise platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement.
• Strong English communication skills; knowledge of French is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architecture, development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
