IT Project Manager

About the Position

We are seeking an IT Project Manager to oversee and coordinate IT projects for an insurance company, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, track progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives.

Requirements

• Expertise in managing IT projects, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Project management expertise, including planification, organization, and executing projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of expertise in IT project management.
• English & Spanish environment are mandatory
