Your Tasks

• Analysis, processing, coordination, and follow-up of security incidents from detection through containment to successful completion.
• Evaluation and prioritization of security-relevant events and close cooperation with internal IT departments and external security service providers.
• Support and development of security monitoring, SIEM use cases, detection rules, and alerting mechanisms.
• Participation in vulnerability management, including analysis, prioritization, and follow-up of risk treatment measures.
• Development of security processes, support in compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparation of documentation, reports, and security metrics.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, an IT vocational training with relevant professional experience.
• Solid knowledge in the field of IT security and practical experience in the analysis and processing of security incidents.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM solutions; ideally, knowledge in vulnerability management and vulnerability assessment.
• Good knowledge of relevant IT security standards and regulatory requirements, e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, or BSI IT-Grundschutz.
• Analytical and structured working method as well as the ability to set priorities and consistently follow up on measures even in critical situations.
• Strong communication skills and team orientation as well as the ability to prepare and convey technical security topics comprehensibly.

Team Description

Cyber attacks are becoming more professional, while regulatory requirements for companies are continuously increasing. In this responsible role, you ensure that security incidents are detected early, effectively processed, and consistently followed up. You will work closely with internal IT departments and external security partners and make an important contribution to the security and stability of our IT landscape.

After almost 30 years of professional experience in various positions, a recruiter approached me almost 3 ½ years ago and introduced me to the Deutsche Leasing Group (DL). The first positive impression was created during the conversation with the team leader and a later colleague. In the second appointment, the department head of OrgIT fully convinced me with his visions of a future IT architecture.

In the Enterprise & Business Architecture team, we therefore deal with the current IT and process architecture and develop strategies on how we can continuously improve. Furthermore, we advise the specialist departments on their own projects and synchronize these with projects of other departments. In this way, we support the DL in stabilizing itself as a global player in the long term and thus securing our jobs. Collegial teamwork across all areas is important and is therefore lived as a matter of course at the DL. Agile working methods with interdisciplinary teams, a flexible working time model with the possibility of mobile work, and a very pleasant working atmosphere with state-of-the-art equipment characterize us.

Looking back, I can only say that my switch was the right decision, and it motivates me to be part of the DL team.
