IT Security Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist with 2+ years of experience in network/cybersecurity to join our team in Prague, Czech Republic. The role is primarily technical, but it also includes consulting activities, occasional communication with customers, and collaboration with the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Working with technologies such as Log Management, SIEM, XDR, EDR, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Scanners, Honeypots.
• Long-term support for a small group of customers in the area of: management and operation of log collection systems, network and endpoint monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and automation of security processes.
• Resolving regular tasks, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc requests.
• Independent work on the development and modifications of log collection, their processing, and classification.
• Collaboration on deployment and management of detection rules, changes in user access.
• Communication with technical support from manufacturers and resolution of SW/HW incidents.
• Collaboration on implementation projects (installation, configuration, migration, technology development).
• Regular checks of the functionality of managed devices, including written reports.
• Backing up devices and documenting changes.
• Working with a ticketing system, knowledge base, and internal tools.

Requirements

• Min. 2+ years of experience in the field of network/cybersecurity.
• Experience with implementation and management of: Log Management / SIEM, XDR, EDR, SOAR.
• Knowledge of logging principles of operating systems.
• Good knowledge of: computer networks, protocols, and their components, Linux or Windows OS.
• Basic knowledge of: scripting/programming, creating basic SQL queries.
• Ability to communicate in English and Czech/Slovak (written and spoken).
• Proactive approach, flexibility, and ability to respond to changes.
• Responsibility, attention to detail, and team spirit.
• Czech/Slovak language proficiency.
