IT- Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Service & Support: You will independently handle support incidents and service requests at the first and second level.
• Installation: You will install and configure both hardware and software.
• Administration: You will administer Windows and Linux servers as well as storage and data backup solutions.
• Virtualization: You will set up and manage virtual servers.
• Documentation: You will create technical documentation.
• Support: You will assist in the planning, preparation, and implementation of network or education solutions.
• Analysis: You will monitor the entire IT infrastructure, check, and analyze its performance.

Requirements

• Education: You have successfully completed a vocational training or a comparable degree.
• Experience: You are a professional or lateral entrant with practical experience in IT administration.
• Administration Experience: You already have experience in the administration of Windows or Linux.
• Client-Server Knowledge: You are familiar with the administration, deployment, and troubleshooting in client-server environments.
• Networking Skills: You work confidently in the environment of network technology.
• Server Knowledge: You are familiar with Linux and Windows servers.
• System Experience: You already have experience in the area of Debian systems and Sophos SG.
• Process Orientation: You work analytically and process-oriented.
• English Skills: You communicate fluently in English.
• Driving License: You have a driver's license class B or 3.
• Teamwork: You enjoy daily work and rely on teamwork.
