IT Support Engineer Intern

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer Intern to join our team at VML Enterprise Solutions in Katowice, Poland. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing day-to-day helpdesk support.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for internal users
• Offer account/access support for highly available systems
• Prepare equipment for users, including wiping disks and installing systems and software
• Update and modify the internal hardware database
• Handle the contact with users and the handover of equipment
• Maintain internal documentation

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Windows or MacOS
• Basic knowledge of network protocols
• General knowledge about IT and technology
• Willingness to learn and upskill in innovative technologies
• Analytical skills
• Team player with a problem-solving attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Polish and English (at least B2)
• Availability: at least 24 hours per week, working on-site at our Katowice office

Nice to Have

• Experience with a ticketing system

• Salary depending on presented skills: 33 - 36 PLN gross per hour (Civil Law Agreement/mandate contract)
