IT Support Engineer

As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in keeping our IT environment running smoothly by providing advanced technical support, maintaining core tools and systems, and ensuring reliable infrastructure for both engineering and business teams. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and supporting a modern technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Support Engineer, you will:

• Provide tier 2/3 IT support to engineering and admin staff
• Maintain and configure development process support tools like Atlassian stack, Git, and SVN
• Deal with the licensing process, including extensions and negotiations with vendors and purchasing
• Maintain and support Windows/Linux Server-based service environments, including hypervisor infrastructure
• Manage backups

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT support role
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supporting Atlassian Cloud Apps or other vendor software/hardware development tools stacks, cloud-based applications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dealing with the licensing process, including extensions and negotiations with vendors
• Experience supporting Windows/Linux Server environments
• Experience supporting Windows OS and desktop applications
• Good understanding of TCP/IP networking with practical experience
• Ability to work with policies and procedures of an IT department
• Good troubleshooting skills, ability to efficiently investigate the nature of a problem
• Good spoken & written English
