About the Position
We are looking for a Home IT Support Specialist – 1st Level to join our team at Wickeder Westfalenstahl GmbH. This role involves handling IT incidents, troubleshooting issues, and providing essential support in a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Receiving, classifying, and processing IT incidents and service requests via help desk/hotline
- Initial troubleshooting and resolution of basic hardware and software issues in the client environment
- Installation, setup, and replacement of workstation systems, peripherals, and standard software
- Support with user administration, permissions, and password resets
- Documentation of incidents, solutions, and changes in the ticketing system
- Escalation of more complex incidents to 2nd Level Support or relevant specialist departments
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship in IT, e.g., as IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in IT support or help desk desirable
- Proficient use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user and rights management, and network technology
- Technical understanding of workstation systems, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Service-oriented, structured, and reliable way of working
- Friendly demeanor as well as good communication and team skills
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with new IT systems and processes
- Good German language skills and basic English skills
