About the Position
We are a leading IT services provider, currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to support internal IT operations for our client in the US. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the IT infrastructure and providing responsive technical support across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote IT support for internal teams, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Manage network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi setup, IP configuration, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and general routing tasks.
- Use remote support tools such as Remote Desktop, TeamViewer, AnyDesk, and Microsoft Quick Assist to assist users.
- Respond to and track tickets using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems.
- Support and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11).
- Provide assistance with Microsoft Office 365 products, especially Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Perform basic diagnostics and repairs of desktop and server hardware including peripherals (e.g., monitors, printers, keyboards, mice).
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts and configuration.
- Hands-on experience with remote support and ticketing tools.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Office 365 suite.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- A customer-centric mindset with attention to detail and patience in resolving issues.
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft-related credentials.
- Experience with basic server administration or Active Directory.
- Familiarity with macOS environments is a plus.
