IT Support Technician (M/F)

In this role you will play a key part in providing technical support to our clients, analysing, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems.

Every technology challenge calls for a quick, effective and fitting answer. Finding the right solution starts with understanding the problem and knowing the technology well.

We are looking for an IT Support Technician (M/F) to strengthen our technical team and contribute to the quality of the support we provide to our clients.

The work runs end to end: site survey, solution architecture, implementation and operation. Every decision has a visible consequence for the service delivered to thousands of people.

Responsibilities

• Analysing, detecting and resolving hardware and software problems;
• Installing and configuring IT systems, both hardware and software;
• Inspecting, maintaining and following up equipment;
• Travelling to client premises to provide technical support;
• Delivering and configuring equipment at client sites;
• Supporting the 2nd and 3rd line technical teams in resolving incidents and technical challenges.

Requirements

• A degree in IT (preferred) or secondary education in the field with at least two years in a similar role;
• Knowledge of hardware: servers, desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones and their peripherals;
• Knowledge of physical networks: twisted pair and optical fibre;
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP);
• Knowledge of administering and configuring Microsoft Windows, Linux and MacOS;
• Good English;
• Driving licence;
• A sense of responsibility and commitment;
• Initiative and autonomy;
• Versatility and a willingness to keep learning.
