IT System Analyst / Business Analyst (Java)

About the Position

We are seeking an IT System Analyst / Business Analyst (Java) to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on business analysis and software development, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirement specifications and/or tender specifications.
• Conceptualize and recommend technical solutions to support the business requirements.
• Work with Procurement to issue tender, evaluate proposals, and award project tenders.
• Be the project manager to manage the Project Budget and the Software Development Life Cycle from start to end.
• Utilize project management methodologies such as Agile, depending on the project’s needs.
• Work closely with vendors to ensure successful software system delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• For Asst Manager: Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Project Management.
• For (Senior) System Analyst: Minimum 1 year of experience in software development.
• Strong technical knowledge in Unix/Linux based environment.
• Proficiency in programming (Java, JavaScript, Angular, Unix Shell Scripting), relational databases, and related SQL scripting (Oracle, SQL, MySQL).

We Offer

• Competitive salary: S$5,500 - S$7,500 per month.
• Permanent full-time position.
