About the Role
We are seeking an IT-System-Engineer specializing in Infrastructure & Virtualization to join our team in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, DE.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our team of infrastructure experts to design, implement, and maintain complex server, storage, backup, and virtualization concepts.
- Provide solutions ranging from single-room concepts to highly available mirroring scenarios in distributed data centers, and outsourcing to our own NetPlans Business Cloud or Microsoft Azure.
- After an initial training period in the team, you will take responsibility for our clients' IT infrastructure solutions. Your area of activity includes both classic project work and the joint development of existing and new infrastructure solutions.
- Support our sales team during the pre-sales phase is also part of your responsibilities.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed your university degree or vocational training as a system integration specialist and have practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Server and storage solutions
- Virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V
- Backup with Veeam
- Nutanix AHV
- Experience with products from Lenovo, IBM, DELL EMC, NetApp, Nutanix, Rubrik, Veeam, VMware
- Solution-oriented and independent working style
- Methodical, analytical, and independent working approach
- Regional travel availability
- Very good German language skills
- Strong customer orientation, communication skills, and organizational skills complete your profile
